Less than 30 minutes they were eating pizza in Kat's bed and chatting about the up and coming promotion.
"And my dad said we won't have to be gone long we can fly in for the appearances and back home that same day." Ike told Kat.
"Wow that sounds like a lot of work" Kat told Ike.
"Well there'll be a few days that we won't be able to jet back and forth, but pretty much we will be able to sleep in our own beds" Ike explained.
"I am glad you will be home more, over the summer it got real boring around here with out my fave guys" Kat teased.
Ike liked the fact that even though he, Taylor and Zac were making music and becoming well known their friends still treated them as just well really good friends.
"Hey Ike, will you still hang out in my room when you get all famous and stuff" Kat giggled.
Ike sat his pizza down and began tickling her. "Oh now you have done missy, your in for a Ike attack." Ike said as Kat began to squirm with laughter.
The door to Kat's room opened and Sarah stood there with her mouth open "Clarke Isaac Hanson, what are you doing?" Sarah smiled.
"Sorry Mrs. Martin" Ike said with a grin on his face.
Ike gave Kat a pat on her head. "Sorry Kat" making Kat laugh harder.
"I should be going though Zac and Tay wanted me to drive them to the movies" Ike said.
"Thanks for coming over Ike and making me feel better, like always." Kat said to Ike.
Taylor looked at his watch. "The movie starts in 10 minutes" he told Zac.
"Ike will be here soon Tay just chill" Zac said to his brother.
Taylor hated being late even if it was to see a movie.
Ike pulled up into the driveway, grabbing his jacket Zac ran out the door jumping down the front steps.
"Hey there Ike, Tay was about to send out the search party" Zac told his brother.
"Geez guys it's just a movie, anyway it doesn't start for another 10 minutes Tay." Ike said as Taylor got in the car.
"I know, I just don't like to be late." Taylor replied.
"So what will it be guys blood and guts or a love story" Zac said sticking his finger in his mouth like he was going to puke.
"No sappy love stories, give me the blood and guts" Taylor said.
"I think that new Halloween part 9 is out" Ike said laughing.
Heading into the cinema Tay and Zac stopped off to get popcorn and something to drink, Ike went to find some seats.
"Hey you two over here" Ike waved his hand.
"Good seats Ike" Zac said.
15 minutes into the movie Taylor leaned over to Ike to tell him something and noticed Ike had fallen asleep.
Chapter 24:
Sunday mornings were busy around the Hanson house with getting ready for church.
"Ike, hurry up in there I need to brush my teeth" Zac shouted at the bathroom door.
"Give me two minutes I have to blow dry my hair" Ike yelled.
Diana was working on getting Mackie dressed and tring to get Zoe ready at the same time when Avery walked in the nursery.
"Mommy can you tie this bow" Avery asked her mom as she turned around to let Diana tie the bow on her dress.
"There all done, now could you please tell your brothers that we are leaving in 5 minutes" Diana asked.
"Sure mom. Zac and Ike are still messing around in the bathroom" Avery informed Diana as she walked out of the nursery.
Zac was sitting on the floor in front of the bathroom door.
"Zac mom said 5 more minutes" Avery told him as she turned and headed back downstairs.
"Did you hear that Ike" Zac said pounding on the door.
"No one at church is gonna care about your hair." Zac said.
Ike opened the door "Well I think you should brush those teeth because they are going to care when they start talking to you funky mouth boy" Ike teased as he pushed past Zac.
"Funny haha" Zac hurried into the bathroom.
"Coming Kat?" Sarah yelled up the stairs.
"Coming mom" Kat said.
Feeling somewhat better today Kat grabbed her jacket and headed out to the car to join Sarah and Jack.
"You look very pretty today Kat" Jack said smiling.
"Thanks dad" Kat said.
The Hanson family had already arrived and Tay was holding Zoe. Zac, Avery and Jessica were sitting when the Martin's entered the church.
Diana was trying to hold Mackie's hand while she spoke with a group friends.
Walker and Ike were just hanging up the coats when Kat bumped into Ike.
"Sorry" Kat said looking up.
Noticing Ike standing there she "Sorry, I was trying to get these darn button undone" Kat said.
"Here let me help you" Ike offered.
Ike got the button undone and helped Kat take her coat off.
"Thank you very much sir" Kat joked.
"Shall we" Ike said holding out his arm for Kat to take.
"Let's" Kat followed Ike's lead.
