Chapter 17:

Thank god it's Saturday Ike thought to him self as he peeled back the covers.

There were only 2 more weeks until they were due to promote the live CD form the tour this past summer. Things had to be planned and he had to talk to his parents about business and Kat.

Grabbing some clothes out of the closet Ike headed for the bathroom.

"Hey doesn't anyone knock" Tay yelled as he reached for the bath towel.

Ike opened the door to their bathroom.

"Yeah well maybe if for once you locked the door, anyway what are you doing up" Ike asked.

"I didn't sleep well last night well I think we should all sit down and work out the schedule for the promotion." Tay said.

"Well that's all fine and dandy there Tay, can I at least take a shower before you start planning out my life" Ike said not trying to sound none the less thrilled to go out on the road again.

Sarah looked in on Kat who was still sleeping. "No sense waking her up" Sarah thought to her self.

Jack was headed out the door to finish up so work on a project he had been working on at the office.

"Jack" Sarah called.

"What time are you going to be home?" Sarah asked.

"Well I shouldn't be too late I am hoping to be out of there by 3 o'clock" Jack told her.

"Ok Kat and I are going to do some shopping and than we should be home by then, I hope this will take her mind of things for a while" she said as she kissed her husband.

Chapter 18:

Taylor, Ike and Zac sat down to talk to Walker about the schedule for the promotion of the CD.

"Ike all I can say is I will talk to Chris" Walker told him.

"Dad we can fly back and forth from each appearance" Ike suggested.

"I won't know if that is possible until Chris hands me the list of appearances he has booked for you guys" Walker looked at his son's faces.

"Dad can you explain what's going on, I'm sure they can work something out" Taylor asked.

Zac sat just listening to what was going on, he too wanted to be home more instead being on the road.

"Ok well we still have 2 weeks guys I think something can be worked out" Walker tried to offer some encouragement to them.

Kat was dressed and ready to hit the mall with her mom.

"Mom come on let's go" Kat yelled as she stood by the front door.

"Ok Kat just a second I have to grab my purse" Sarah replied.

On the road to the mall Kat noticed the sky seemed to look like more rain was on the way.

"Mom do you think we will get some snow soon" Kat asked her mom.

"I don't know honey, but it looks like maybe some rain" Sarah answered.

"Kat help me look for a parking spot will you" Sarah asked.

"I think there's one mom up there." Kat said pointing to an empty parking space.

The mall wasn't as busy as they thought it would be for a Saturday morning.
